I don't understand this business about death. If we're just going to die. What's the point of living? Well, there's seafood. I don't know why I even talk to you before dinner. Calvin and Hobbes are sitting under a tree.

Calvin mentions he doesn't understand about death. He wonders if we're all going to die, what's the point of living? Hobbes ponders that and offers an answer of 'Seafood'. In a huff, Calvin says he doesn't know why he even talks to Hobbes before dinner.
