Has he eaten anything? No. don't die little raccoon. It wouldn't be very grateful of you to break my heart. Calvin and Hobbes are looking at the raccoon.

Hobbes asks if he's eaten anything, and Calvin replies no. They continue to look at the raccoon. Calvin tells the raccoon not to die. He says it wouldn't be grateful of the raccoon to break his heart.
